Blacklists and bounces

Sarbacane 3 makes the management of unsubscriptions and bounces easier. It allows you to populate automatically blacklists with the e-mail addresses you have to filter in your next sendings.

Management of unsubscriptions

The principle is pretty simple and Sarbacane makes the process easy: the recipients who want to unsubscribe just have to click the dedicated link in your message and they are automatically added to the blacklist of your choice. So they will be filtered from your next sendings. You don't have to manage unsubscriptions manually anymore by receiving and reading every request sent by e-mail. Sarbacane also includes unsubscribe pages which are ready to use if you don't have a way to manage that on your own website.

Management of bounces (undeliverable e-mails)

Bounces are wrong or non-used e-mail addresses. You don't need to write to these addresses anymore. Moreover, this has a negative impact on the sendings' efficiency. Indeed Internet Service Providers don't like the multiple attempts that routing servers have to make to join invalid addresses. This can even make the sending similar as apaming so the ISP can choose to blacklist the sender.

Bounces lists are located in the Blacklists and bounces part of the software. Sarbacane 3 allows you to identify and manage bounces e-mails by populating these lists manually or automatically.

Manual way :
  • by importing a file: an e-mail list in *.txt or *.csv formats, a SQL/MySQL database or message files (*.eml).
  • Automated way :
  • via a POP3 account: you just have to set the parameters of an account in the POP account manager in Sarbacane in order to connect to the e-mail server and identify bounces by analyzing e-mails contents.
  • by scanning your Microsoft Outlook software: Sarbacane 3 connects to the account and identifies bounces by analyzing the mailbox.
  • via the Professional Routing Service: when you use this service, Sarbacane 3 identifies and regroups all the bounces coming from the campaign's sendings, and it even specifies the reason why the message was not well-received.
  • Lors d'un envoi de campagne, Sarbacane retire automatiquement du fichier de destinataires toutes les adresses situées dans les listes NPAI. Ainsi, les messages ne leur sont pas envoyés inutilement.

"We devoutly believe that Sarbacane and its routing service is the simpliest and most powerful solution in this domain. We can finally mix business with pleasure."

"Within a three-steps campaign, we opted for Sarbacane because it was the most efficient solution we tested. Reliable and powerful. We also often use the Routing Service in order to benefit from all options of the Tracking, which is particularly important for a comprehensive analysis of our sendings. "

"A very interesting and efficient solution. Thanks to many tests, we can check the whole configuration of a campaign before sending it, which decreases many risks. The tracking function is a huge advantage, and certainly not only for us. We definitely recommend Sarbacane. "
