Anti-spam filter
This section allows you to have an estimation of the probability that your email arrives in spam in your recipients inbox.
This tool works with Spam Assassin. A score is established from algorithms that will analyze the content of your message to detect the elements that could cause your email to be marked as junk mail.
As soon as you reach the "Test & Send" step, the spam filter starts an automatic test of your content and gives you a score.
If this is superior than 5, your email considers by Spam Assassin as junk mail.
The "Restart Test" button allows you to reset Spam Assassin in the case that you made changes.
The "Details" button allows you to obtain more precise information about the calculation of your score. Clicking on this button opens a window:
From this screen, you have access to a table showing you the reasons why Spam Assassin gave you the score indicated above and the score given for each reason.
The information button "i" gives you a clearer indication of what each reason means, if possible.
Predictive eye tracking
What is predictive eye tracking?
Eye Tracking, called oculometry in English, is a technique to track the eye movements of individuals when they watch, for example, an email campaign. Predictive eye tracking simulates human vision and allows you to measure the visual impact of your email and predict the areas that will generate the most interest, even before sending it to your recipients. You are thus able to optimize the rendering of your message to maximize your results.
Below are the 4 analysis reports available:
Heat zones
This analysis of the heat zones in your email is based on a monitoring study of eye tracking. A gradient of colors indicates the areas of your email that will probably attract more attention from your recipients. The areas range from green to red to yellow. The most attractive elements of the image are represented by red halos.
The green and yellow colors represent low and medium levels of attention respectively. The colourless areas represent the parts of your email that will be glanced through by your recipients.
Eye movements
This diagram shows you the likely trajectory of your recipients' gaze.
This trajectory is composed of short eye movements ("jerks") as well as short eye stops ("stares"). Each staring point is identified by a numbered circle indicating the order in which it is stared at. On average, a stare lasts about 200 milliseconds (ms) when reading a text, and 350 ms when viewing an image or a multimedia sequence. The larger the diameter of the circle, the more intense the stare.
This report can indicate up to 30 staring points, simulating the first 7.5 seconds of the trajectory of your recipients' gaze.
Opacity report
The opacity report allows you to clearly identify which areas of your email are attractive and which areas will be glanced through by your recipients. This report is based on the duration of the stare on the different areas of your email, and simulates what your recipients will detect during the first seconds after opening it. The most transparent areas are those that attract the most attention, and conversely, the most opaque areas are those that will most likely be glanced through by your recipients.
Aesthetic analysis
This report provides an overall aesthetic score (from 0 to 100) based on 3 criteria: color, clarity and balance.
The colorimetry score: a score of 100 means that your creation is colorful, attractive and arouses curiosity. A score of 0 indicates that the colors are too monotonous and unattractive.
The clarity score: a score of 100 means that the design is sober, simple and clear. A score of 0 indicates that the design is too complex, messy or overloaded.
The equilibrium score: a score of 100 means that the design is balanced and harmonious. A score of 0 indicates a poor balance or too pronounced asymmetry in your creation.
How to start the test?
To launch the test, go to the "Campaigns"' menu, then to the campaign you wish to analyze. In the left menu, select the "Test & Send" menu. Then click "Start the test" in the fourth section named "Eye Tracking" in the bottom right corner.
Once the test is finished, 4 pictures will show in the box, each of them representing the four analysis reports available : heat zones, eye movements, opacity report and aesthetic analysis.
Click one of the four pictures to look into the analysis reports.
NB : The test doesn't update automatically. In case you have modified your campaign and want to see the updated results of the analysis, start the test again clicking the button "Relaunch the test".
Check list
As the name suggests, the "Check list" menu will perform a last check of your email campaign and warn you if you have forgotten to perform certain actions.
You can manually check each item by clicking the edit button on the right side of the screen.
- Preview
Alert you if you have not previewed your email. The check button takes you back to the preview screen.
- Text version of the message
It is important to check that the plain text version of your email is the correct one in case a recipient is equipped with an inbox that does not accept HTML emails or that they are blocked.
Click the verify button to access the editing screen of the text version of your message.
Click "Regenerate from HTML" to automatically render text from your HTML creative. You must regenerate your text version each time you make a change in the content of your message, so that the latest version of your email is taken into account.
- Message links
Mailify can verify for you that the links in your message are indeed functional. By default, all your links are considered "not validated" because Mailify did not perform any verification.
Click the check button to test your links. You then access a descriptive table of all your links.
The "Type" column indicates the type of link in question, the "Address" column corresponds to the URL you entered and the "Test" column indicates the result of the verification performed by blowgun. If the pellet is green, the link works, if it is red, the link has a problem and you must fix it directly in your content.
If one of these elements has not yet been verified and validated, a red dot appears next to:
When these parameters are checked and validated, the pellet then becomes green.

Before you definitely send your campaign, it is recommended to send one or more tests to your own email address, to make sure everything is working properly.
Click the "Send Test" button.
You will then go to the "Test Campaign" screen.
Click the "Edit" drop-down menu to add one or more addresses to the test email address book.

Once you have completed your last tests, you can go to the next step to finalize the sending of your campaign.
Finalize the campaign
This step allows you to schedule automatic follow-up scenarios for your recipients and to finalize the sending of your campaign.
Schedule follow-up emails
Before finalizing the sending of your campaign, Mailify allows you to schedule automatic follow-up campaigns to the recipients of your campaign. You can choose between a fully customizable preset scenario to automatically follow-up the non openers of your campaign or a personalized scenario that you can completely set up by yourself. Here are the different scenarios available:
- Resend the same message to the non-openers of the campaign: this scenario is ideal to automatically reactivate the inactive contacts of your campaign.
- Create a customized scenario: this option allows you to create an automatic scenario completely adapted to your needs by adding conditions (opening, clicks, bounces), adding Email or SMS messages or inserting the contacts in a list of your choice.
Learn more about automated follow-up campaigns.
To finalize the sending of your campaign, go to the next step.

- Scheduled sending: allows you to select a day and time to schedule your campaign for a specific moment in the future.
- Predictive mailing (available soon): sends your campaign at the best time for each recipient. The predictive mailing in Mailify is based on the data of the openings collected on your recipients. Mailify then analyzes when your recipients most often open their emails in order to trigger the sending of your campaign at the most opportune moment.
In case you have not yet added any contacts to your campaign, an error message will be displayed informing you that the sending is not possible.
In case you do not have enough routing credits to send your campaign, an error message warns you. By clicking on "View offers", you will have the opportunity to place a new order of credits.
